Calculation & quotation

In order to provide you with a reliable quotation for your filter at short notice, we calculate all the necessary tools in detail when creating the product design and clarify the cost of purchased parts with our suppliers. Our quotation for the filter tailored specifically to your application and the associated tools also includes a detailed parts price calculation with all components relevant to you.

Design & Engineering

In a first step, we create a product draft design for your filter. In order to present you with a solution that already takes all the characteristics for series production into account, our product managers work closely with the department. Because we know that you need a tailor-made solution for your unit, we coordinate the various options with you using CAD models so that we can jointly determine the best filter variant. With our filter expertise from over a thousand customer projects, we check the manufacturability of the filter in advance, create functional and tool concepts, and determine the manufacturing technology. We test and validate our manufacturing concepts using filling simulations so that you receive a well-founded product design for your filter. We provide you with a filter concept that exactly meets your requirements and makes optimum use of the installation space in your unit.

Prototyping

Because we know that you need initial sample parts of your filter as quickly as possible for testing under real conditions, we use simultaneous engineering right from the product design stage. We supply you with sample filters for flow and temperature testing and for design verification, and ensure that the materials and production method meet your specifications.

If you need illustrative parts in the first step to gain a more concrete idea of the filter developed specifically for your application or to carry out initial installation tests, we can also provide you with rapid prototyping parts at any time before the first sample parts.

Material selection

The material used for your filter depends on the basic data of your specific application.
Here, we draw on our experience from more than a thousand filter projects for renowned customers from all industries. When advising you on the choice of material for your filter, you benefit from our expertise in fabric and plastic types, geometries, and manufacturing requirements. Whether plastic or metal mesh, hybrid filters, plastic filters, or metal filters. Whether combination filters with integrated screening and sealing functions, clip filters, V-filters, or disc and cylinder filters.

Inspection

Because we know how crucial safe and clean filters are for your application, we often equip our production facilities with fully automated testing systems. In addition to fully automated camera testing of filters and screens, we also continuously perform cleanliness and residual dirt analyses to ensure that you receive only filter screens of impeccable quality from us.

Series production

With around 100 injection molding machines and more than 50 special-purpose machines, we manufacture exclusively at our two locations in Germany. Our prototype and series production with different batch sizes enables us to provide our customers with a flexible supply of products in every phase of the life cycle. Our customized filter design and a tailor-made manufacturing concept ensure that your requirements are turned into perfect series products that are also economically convincing.

For more than half a century, we have been creating concepts, producing, and supplying application-specific filters and screens to customers all over the world.
